THE FASTEST TICKETS IN TOWN NOW ON GENERAL SALE!!!!
Newcastle Speedway are pleased to announce that the online booking portal is now live for everyone to book their tickets for our season opening double header meeting; the 2nd leg of the knock out cup against the Edinburgh Monarchs, immediately followed by the action from our National League Gems v the Armadale Devils!!!
As mentioned in a previous post this link was not meant to go live until Tuesday 4th May, however we are now in a position where all of our season ticket holders have been accounted for in the covid capacity regulations and we can now release the remaining tickets to the remainder of our supporters, Edinburgh supporters and the general public.
We are currently running on a strictly monitored lowered capacity limit and we have to allocate every ticket we sell so we can monitor the numbers correctly
For this reason all tickets are being sold on a first come-first served basis. These regulations have been set by Newcastle Diamonds Ltd, The Arena Racing Company and Newcastle City Council and they are the only we can operate in a covid-secure way. We appreciate that this is not an ideal way for some people to get their tickets, and for this we apologise, however we ask everyone to remember that we are not operating under normal circumstances and we are trying to operate in the best way we can right now whilst following all the guidelines that are currently in place.
Needless to say, that also because of these guidelines, strictly only one rider and one mechanic, plus track officials will be given entry via the pit gate. Everyone one else will have to book their ticket via the online ticket portal.
As we are sure you will be aware the rule of 6 is still in place as set by the British Government.
So we also kindly ask that when booking your tickets for seated areas (the main bar/hospitality) you do not book an area over your allocation needs.
For example, in hospitality we offering seating for groups of 2,4 and 6. Please do not book an area allocated for 6 people if you intend for only 2 people to attend, as due to Covid-19 guidelines, we cannot then fill the remaining spaces up with another separate booking and this means that a group of 6 people may miss out on attending.
We kindly ask everyone booking tickets to show courtesy and common sense when choosing their allocated areas, as this will make the whole booking experience a much more pleasant and straight-forward process for everyone involved.
Can we also please advise, that anyone who may be booking for a wheelchair user, must be allocated to the main bar area. To allow for adequate social distancing measures, we can only allocate wheelchair users to the main bar until further notice.
Admission prices for these meetings whilst under covid guidelines are being priced slightly differently, with a standard admission for anyone over 16 at £20.00 and 5-16s at £6, under 5s still go free of charge.
Please also note that a booking fee for an additional tickets is payable at a rate of a 5% processing fee + 15p booking fee per ticket. We appreciate that this is not an ideal situation and we apologise for this, however once again due to the regulations we are having to operate under, advance online booking is the only way we are permitted to sell tickets, and it is common practice for a booking fee to added on to the total price.
CAN WE PLEASE ASK ALL SUPPORTERS BOOKING THEIR TICKETS TO HAVE A READ THROUGH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON THE TRY BOOKING LINK BEFORE BOOKING, AS NO REFUNDS CAN BE GIVEN FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN’T AGREE TO ADHERE TO THESE TS & CS.
EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 16 MUST HAVE THEIR NAME, ADDRESS AND POSTCODE ADDED TO THEIR TICKET FOR TRACK AND TRACE PURPOSES, SO PLEASE REMEMBER TO FILL THE DETAILS IN FOR EVERYONE IN YOUR GROUP.
We appreciate that this system will be all very new to a lot of supporters and we understand that there may be questions you would like to ask, that we may not have answered in this email. Please do not hesitate to reply with any further queries you may have and we will attempt to answer them as promptly as we can, however please remember that Newcastle Speedway are following the social media blackout being put in place from 3.00pm today until 11.59pm on Monday, so any questions will be answered after this time.
Finally, may we take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your patience, understanding and loyalty through what has been the most testing of times for Newcastle Speedway.
We truly appreciate it all and we cannot wait to see you all again come June 6th!
And on that note, all that’s left to say is ‘Happy Booking’!
